Chrysler recently announced that they are bringing back the Jeep Cherokee, but in name only. The 2014 Jeep Cherokee will be the replacement for the Jeep Liberty. Rugged isn’t the first thing that springs to mind when we see these pics. What do you think?

3rd Annual Adirondack Jeeps All Breeds Jeep Show 8.12.12

Mark your calenders! On August 12th 2012, our friends from Adirondack Jeeps and Saratoga Chrysler Jeep Dodge will be putting on their 3rd annual All-Breeds Jeep Show from 9am to 1pm. If you’re a Jeeper or lover of Jeeps in Upstate NY, Vermont, or Western Mass, make it a point to get to this one. It’s a fun, family friendly event with trail rides, all kinds of awesome Jeeps, an RTI ramp, a raffle with some incredible Jeep prizes (including some cool stuff from us), food and fun. This isn’t just a fun event, but proceeds will benefit The Sugar Free Gang and The Wait House which are great causes and help young people in our area immensely. Hope to see you all there!

Jeep Wrangler sets news sales record for September 2011

10.3.11 – Chrysler Group LLC  is reporting an increase in Jeep Brand Vehicle Sales of 24 percent for September 2011. The Jeep Wrangler led the way, but the increase was also bolstered by a whopping 306% increase in Jeep Compass sales and a 78% increase in Grand Cherokee sales. These increase can be attributed to the 2012 redesign for the 2012 Grand Cherokee and the new Trail Rated 4×4 capability of the new Compass. Chrysler is showing a 27% increase across the board for all it’s vehicle lines (Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler). Great news for Jeep lovers.

New Special Edition Jeep Wrangler available to the European Market only.

“Jeep’s never-ending streak of special-edition Wranglers continues, but the latest edition won’t be sold in our market. The new 2012 Wrangler Arctic Edition, which debuts at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, will only be offered in Europe.

Chrysler’s official press release says the Wrangler Arctic was inspired by the terrain found in its namesake land, as it provides the grueling and demanding environments the Wrangler was engineered to conquer.”  Perhaps, but this go-anywhere, do-anything SUV isn’t given any specialized equipment that facilitates sub-zero travel; instead, the Arctic is essentially a spiffy dress-up kit for the Wrangler Sahara and Wrangler Unlimited Sahara.”

ATTN Video Game Nerds who love Jeeps! 2012 Call of Duty Edition!

“For the second year in a row, Jeep has partnered with video game maker Activision to forge a special edition Wrangler based on one of the CoD franchise. Last year’s game-inspired machine Jeep unveiled the Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops edition, but this year’s customized Jeep is tied to the Modern Warfare 3 title, which will hit stores in November.”

Adirondack Jeeps 2nd Annual Jeep Show and Burger Burn 8.6.11

Our friends from Adirondack Jeeps (our local Jeep club) will be putting on their annual fundraiser and Jeep Show in a few weeks at Saratoga Chrysler Jeep Dodge in beautiful Saratoga Springs, NY.
