I need some help. I just bought a Rubicon, my first Jeep ever! I’ve been wanting one since I saw my first Renegade when I was 12. I’m now 48 and…finally! Anyway, I’m looking to buy a kayak for lake kayaking. Can you help me out as far as a type of carrier? I have a soft top.
    Thanks!

This gets a little tricky with a Wrangler. There aren’t many reliable kayak/canoe racks for the Jeep Wrangler out there. I have heard of people using a hitch mount post type of rack in combination with their roll bars and soft top down. We haven’t found a company that sells a reliable rack specifically for a Wrangler though.

  4. Hey guys,

I`m a french-canadian student at University of Montreal and right now I’m doing some research on the Jeep brand for an advertising project. We’re doing a little survey and the main question is this: Does an hybrid version of a Jeep vehicule would interest the typical consumer of the brand? As I except you guys are fans of the brand, so I think that you’re the best source of information.

Let me know what you think and thanks in advance!

I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo and am thinking of purchasing a 31′ camper. What are your thoughts on the ability of my Grand Cherokee’s hauling capabilities. I have 95K and the trailer is 5K gross weight. I was told by a pretty reliable source that if I upgraded to synthetic trans fluid I could go for another 100K hauling this trailer… what are your thoughts??

I just got a call from a fellow who said he owns “jeep world” he lives in Alabama. The fellow said he would pay me cash for my jeep. Sounded a little crazy to me , so I thought I would shoot an e mail to y’all and see if the owner of jeep world is a crazy middle aged man who now lives in Alabama .
